Capitol Hill and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation

Completing the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Congressional Internship Program was a proud milestone in my career. I interned under then Congresswoman Karen Bass, now the Mayor of Los Angeles, and the experience gave me a new perspective on public service and advocacy.

Spending that time on Capitol Hill was life changing. I made meaningful connections with my cohort and gained a real look into how our nation's government actually works.
