A King Sized America
Notes from an evening with Dr. Michael Eric Dyson.
I attended the 3rd Annual Central Pennsylvania Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Banquet this year. The theme was “A King Sized America,” centered on the idea of a country and society run by love and unity rather than by hate and fear.
The evening's keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, led a powerful discussion, and I was fortunate to be surrounded by insightful thoughts and fruitful conversation throughout the night.
This experience reinvigorated my drive to be of service to, and to advocate for, Americans from all walks of life.
